Everything you purchase from One Horizon is covered by a two-year statutory warranty under Swiss law, plus a voluntary 30-day return policy starting from the date of receipt. If an item is defective, send a photo and the order number to info@one-horizon.ch; we’ll cover the return shipping costs, and you’ll receive a replacement or a refund. Memobottle and Orbitkey each offer an additional two-year manufacturer’s warranty, while Stilform offers a three-year warranty for purchases made in its own store. Here’s a breakdown for all three brands of which replacement and wear-and-tear parts we stock in-house and which are supplied only by the manufacturer, so you know how long a product will actually last before you buy. The full terms and conditions: Returns and Warranty.

What Applies to All Products at One Horizon

Three deadlines you should be aware of. First, a 30-day return policy from the date of receipt, with no reason required, for unused items in their original packaging. Swiss law does not mandate a return policy for online purchases; the 30-day period is voluntary. You must register the return via the returns portal, and you are responsible for the return shipping costs. Second, a seven-day window for shipping damage: If the package arrives damaged, take photos of the packaging and the product immediately and contact us within one week; if you do so, you will not incur any costs. Third, there is a two-year statutory warranty on every product in the store.

If a defect occurs within these two years, here’s what to do: Send your order number and a photo of the defect to info@one-horizon.ch. We’ll assess the issue based on the photo, and you’ll receive instructions for returning the item—we’ll cover the shipping costs. As soon as we’ve inspected the item, we’ll send a replacement if the product is still available; otherwise, we’ll issue a refund to your payment method or provide a gift card. The defective item must be returned in any case, as we need to document the defect for the brand. This is the procedure for all three brands, regardless of what the manufacturer itself offers.

Memobottle: two-year warranty; lid and gasket are replaceable parts

Memobottle offers a two-year manufacturer’s warranty on all bottles against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The bottle is intentionally designed so that its parts can be replaced individually: according to the manufacturer, the lid, the silicone gasket inside the lid, and the silicone sleeve are replaceable parts. The gasket can be removed from the lid with a butter knife, cleaned, and reinserted—this is the first step to take if a Memobottle starts leaking. What the warranty does not cover: scratches, discoloration, and damage caused by the dishwasher, which Memobottle excludes for all its products.

At One Horizon, we carry the silicone sleeve for A5 and A6 sizes, as well as the Universal holder. We currently do not carry replacement lids and gaskets for the Memobottle; these are available directly from the manufacturer, either for the Original line or the Stainless Steel line—the two are not compatible with each other. Warranty claims regarding the bottle itself—such as a crack in the Tritan or a leaky weld on the stainless steel—are handled through us.

Orbitkey: two-year warranty; the locking mechanism is replaceable

Orbitkey provides a two-year limited warranty from the date of purchase on all products against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The part of the Key Organizer that sees the most wear is the 316L stainless steel locking mechanism: the screw, shaft, and D-ring. If it loosens after a few months, the manufacturer states that this is normal wear and tear and not covered by the warranty; simply tightening it is sufficient. A material defect in the leather or threads, however, is covered by the warranty.

The complete locking mechanism is available as a replacement part from Orbitkey; it is not currently part of the One Horizon lineup. What we do carry are the parts that expand the organizer rather than repair it: the expansion pack for four additional keys, the Ring V2 with quick-release clasp, clips, and tools. Regarding leather care: Orbitkey does not specify any care products; according to the manufacturer , the top-grain leather of the Key Organizer has a protective finish and darkens over time. This is patina, not a defect.

Warranty: three years through the manufacturer’s store, excluding wear-and-tear parts

Stilform provides a three-year warranty for purchases made in its own online store and offers a free repair service or replacement parts, depending on the situation. Excluded from this warranty are normal wear and tear, improper use, and—specifically—consumable parts: refills, converters, and nibs, unless the damage is due to a manufacturing defect. If you purchase a Stilform from One Horizon, our two-year warranty applies, and we’ll coordinate repairs or replacements with the manufacturer. Common issues with the pens include: a misaligned magnetic cap (Stilform aligns all caps during assembly and accepts complaints), a bent nib tip after a fall (not covered by warranty, but the nib is a replaceable part), a broken graphite tip (consumable part).

Stilform is the brand with the widest selection of replacement parts in its lineup, because that’s the core of its concept: The ballpoint refills for the PEN and AEON, the gel refill for the ARC, the replacement nib for the INK in four materials and four widths, the ink converter, the Eternal tip and the graphite tips for the AEON, as well as the clip-on clip. All refill formats are open-ended (G2, Pilot Juice Up, Schmidt P 8127, international refills), so even ten years from now, you won’t be dependent on the manufacturer.

How to Report a Defect Correctly

  • Photo first: the defective item, the product, and—in the case of shipping damage—the exterior of the packaging as well. Without a photo, we cannot assess the case or provide evidence to the brand.

  • Please send the order number to info@one-horizon.ch. For returns of non-defective items, please use the returns portal—do not contact us by email.

  • Do not return anything without prior notice. The return address will be provided in our reply; in cases covered by the warranty, we will cover the shipping costs.

  • First, try the simple solution: Reinsert the Memobottle gasket, loosen the Orbitkey screw one turn, and replace the Stilform refill. This often solves the problem before you even have to send a package.

Frequently Asked Questions About Warranties and Replacement Parts

How long is the warranty with One Horizon?

All products are covered by a two-year statutory warranty under Swiss law. In the event of a defect, we will provide a replacement if the product is still available; otherwise, we will issue a refund in the form of a gift card or directly to your payment method. In addition, we offer a voluntary 30-day return policy from the date of receipt for unused items.

Who pays for return shipping if an item is defective?

One Horizon. If a warranty claim arises, you’ll receive instructions on how to return the item, and we’ll cover the costs. Only in the case of a standard return without a defect will you be responsible for the return shipping costs.

My Memobottle is leaking. Is this covered by the warranty?

Usually not. In most cases, the silicone gasket in the lid no longer fits snugly. Use a butter knife to remove it, clean it, dry it, and press it back in evenly. If the bottle continues to leak—for example, due to a crack or a defective seam—please contact us with a photo and your order number, and the warranty will apply.

Are there replacement parts for the Orbitkey Key Organizer?

Yes. The complete locking mechanism is available as a replacement part from Orbitkey. At One Horizon, we carry the extension, the Ring V2, clips, and tools. According to the manufacturer, a mechanism that loosens after a few months is a result of normal wear and tear and can be tightened.

Does the style guarantee also cover refills and nibs?

No. Stilform excludes consumable parts such as refills, converters, and springs, unless the damage is due to a manufacturing defect. The three-year manufacturer’s warranty applies to purchases made in the Stilform Shop; for One Horizon products, the two-year warranty provided by us applies. We carry all wear-and-tear parts as replacements in our product range.

Can I return a used product within 30 days?

No. The return policy applies to merchandise in its original condition: unused, with undamaged packaging, seals, and accessories. You may open the item to inspect it. A used product is no longer considered new and can only be returned under warranty if it is defective.
