7clouds makes bags from materials that have already served a purpose. The wallets are crafted from used tarps that are sourced, cleaned, and cut to size in Switzerland. Tarpaulin is the material used to make truck tarps and covers: sturdy, waterproof, and built to withstand years of outdoor use. 7clouds collects used tarps in Switzerland, cleans them, and cuts them into pieces. What is then sewn into a wallet continues to bear the traces of its first life. <\/p>\n\n

The second material line: recycled PET<\/h2>\n\n

When it comes to backpacks, the situation is different. Tarpaulin is too heavy and too stiff for a backpack you carry every day. That\u2019s why 7clouds uses RPET\u2014polyester made from recycled PET bottles\u2014for these products.
