The Best Wine Key answers a question that seemed to have been settled long ago: how do you get the wine out of the bottle without breaking the cork? <\/p>\n<h2>The Ratchet Lever<\/h2>\n<p>Instead of pulling the cork out in one swift motion, the lever operates in two stages and pulls it straight up. This is exactly what saves old, brittle corks that would snap in half if removed with a standard corkscrew. The lever arm locks into place whether open or closed.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Two-stage ratchet:<\/strong> pulls corks of any length straight out<\/li>\n<li><strong>Folding serrated blade<\/strong> at a precise angle to the capsule<\/li>\n<li>Built-in <strong>bottle cap opener<\/strong> <\/li>\n<li><strong>Spiral<\/strong> designed for natural and synthetic corks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The three versions<\/h2>\n<p>The body and coil are made of stainless steel on all three models; the differences lie in the finish and grip scales. <strong>The red model<\/strong> has a brushed body and red PPE grips with a knurled texture. <strong>The black model<\/strong> is PVD-coated and also features PPE grips. <strong>The amber model<\/strong> features polished stainless steel with cellulose acetate grips.<\/p>\n<h2>Technical data<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Dimensions: 11.7 x 3.8 x 1.5 cm<\/li>\n<li>Weight: 130 g<\/li>\n<li>Material: Stainless steel, PPE, or cellulose acetate<\/li>\n<li>Features: Ratchet corkscrew, foil cutter, bottle cap opener<\/li>\n<li>Design: Craighill with Andre Hueston Mack<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Care<\/h2>\n<p>Wash by hand and dry; do not put in the dishwasher.
