The Eternal lead draws a line just like a 2H pencil, but wears down so slowly that most people never replace it. <\/p>\n<h2>How It Works<\/h2>\n<p>The tip is made of a non-toxic metal alloy, not graphite. When writing, a microscopic amount of material is released and remains on the paper. The line is therefore slightly lighter and harder than that of an HB pencil, closer to a <strong>2H<\/strong>.
