Two tips, two writing experiences

The Eternal tip is made of a non-toxic metal alloy and leaves a mark similar to that of a 2H pencil. It wears down so slowly that most people never replace it. The graphite tip is made of real graphite in HB or 2B, for shading and soft lines. As it gets shorter, you can sharpen it with fine sandpaper.

Aluminum with wood veneer

The body is machined from aluminum and accented with a wood veneer. Weighing just 27 g, it feels light in the hand without looking cheap. The flattened sides serve a practical purpose: the pen doesn’t roll off the table and sits more securely between your fingers while sketching.

What is the difference between the Graphite tip and the Eternal tip?

The graphite tip writes like a standard HB-grade pencil, can be erased, and can be sharpened with fine-grit sandpaper. The Eternal lead is made of a non-toxic special alloy, produces a slightly lighter line (comparable to 2H), and hardly wears down at all, so there’s no need to sharpen it.

What types of leads come with the AEON aluminum pencil?

That depends on your choice. The Graphite version comes with a graphite lead (HB), while the Eternal version includes both leads—Eternal and Graphite. Replacement leads are available individually, and the graphite lead is also available in 2B hardness.

How do I change the tip on the AEON?

The tip is held in place magnetically. You simply pull it off and attach the other one—no tools or screw threads required. It takes just seconds to switch them out.

How heavy and how long is the AEON aluminum pencil?

It measures 134.6 mm and weighs 27 g. This makes it noticeably heavier in the hand than a wooden pencil, but it’s still light enough for extended writing. The aluminum version is the lightest in the AEON lineup.

Does the AEON really not roll off the table?
