From the Black Forest, since 2000
Raumgestalt is a German design manufactory from the Black Forest, founded in 2000 by Jutta Rothe. What began at fifty with the drive to create something truly her own has become an unmistakable label for purist home design. The company’s base is a 300-year-old Black Forest farmhouse that still serves as a showroom today.
As Simple as a Pebble
Raumgestalt’s design philosophy can be stated in one sentence: as simple and beautiful as a pebble. Timeless rather than trend-driven, reduced to the essential, no compromise on material. Oak is the core material, complemented by metal and natural stone. Production is in close collaboration with local craftsmen from the region.
Serving Boards, Lights, Small Furniture
The range includes serving boards with knives, wooden boxes, salt and pepper grinders, fireplace sets, stools and lighting products. None of this is made for a season. Raumgestalt pieces are intended for long periods of time and find their place in well-appointed kitchens, living rooms and on terraces.
