No. 1 Collection: Medium Collar
Collier Tiziana Redavid was a student at the Turin Polytechnic Architecture School in 1987 when she made a circumstantial discovery. From the factory floor of a manufacturer of industrial springs she discovered that leftover stainless steel springs were quite beautiful on her wrist.
No. 1 Collection: Large Collar
The large necklace from la mollla’s No. 1 Collection was designed by architect and designer Tiziana Redavid. Inspired by the beauty of stainless steel springs, this piece of jewelry combines art and craftsmanship. The springs come from Turin and are assembled and finished in France.
Necklaces are among the most directly worn pieces of jewellery — they rest against the skin, stay visible all day and have to genuinely work in material, weight and form. The selection we’ve put together at One Horizon in this category covers delicate chains and collar necklaces from brands that develop their jewellery with a real understanding of craft and material. You’ll find gold-plated chains in recycled brass, silver chains in various thicknesses and models with well-considered pendants — from geometric forms to symbolic elements. With every brand we list, we ensure the construction and material quality are sound, because good jewellery doesn’t tolerate compromise. Many of the pieces here are made to be worn for years — that’s also the more sustainable principle compared to quickly rotating trend items. Ships duty-free from Switzerland.
