A rollerball pen falls somewhere between a ballpoint pen and a fountain pen. It writes with liquid ink—which flows more freely and produces a richer line than a ballpoint pen—but requires neither a converter nor refilling.

Schmidt P8127

Stilform uses a refill from the German company SCHMIDT Technology. It dispenses ink evenly, without skipping when you start writing, and dries quickly enough for left-handers. The P8126 and P8120 are also compatible, so you have three line styles to choose from and aren’t limited to a single brand.

Care

Use a dry cloth; do not use harsh cleaners. Close the cap completely after writing, otherwise the tip will dry out. This is the most common cause of skipping in rollerball pens.
