Brass ages. With this pen, that’s not a side effect—it’s the very reason to choose it. After a few months in your hand, it develops a patina that no other pen can match.

75 g in my hand

It weighs almost three times as much as the aluminum version. You need to apply less pressure when writing, since the pen uses its own weight to glide across the page. If you sketch for a long time, you’ll notice the difference in your wrist—in both ways: less pressure is needed, but you have to support more weight.

Patina

  • Untreated brass darkens with hand contact
  • Fingerprints are characteristic of the material and disappear into the patina
  • If you want to restore the shine, polish it with a brass cloth
