About four centimeters shorter than the AEON pencil, but otherwise the same technology. The Nano is designed for people who want to carry their pencil with them instead of leaving it on their desk.

94.9 mm

Size is everything. The Nano fits right into the inside pocket of a jacket or in a case alongside cards and keys, and at 23 g, you’ll hardly notice it. It’s perfect for notes and quick sketches. If you spend hours drawing, you’ll prefer the longer AEON.

Graphite or Eternal

Every Nano comes with an HB graphite lead. It writes like a classic pencil, can be erased, and can be sharpened with fine-grit sandpaper. If you choose the Eternal version, it also comes with the Eternal lead. It’s made of a non-toxic special alloy, produces a lighter line similar to 2H, and hardly wears down at all. The leads are held in place magnetically and can be changed without tools.

Replacement leads are sold individually: the Eternal lead and graphite leads in a 3-pack, in HB or 2B. They fit the Nano just as well as they do the AEON and the AEON Pure.

What is the difference between the AEON Nano and the AEON pencil?

At 94.9 mm, the Nano is about four centimeters shorter than the AEON pencil (134.6 mm) and weighs 23 grams instead of 27. The magnetic tip replacement system, flattened sides, and tips are the same; the tips fit both models. The Nano is the pen for on the go, while the longer AEON is the one for the desk.

What types of tips come with the AEON Nano?

The graphite version comes with an HB graphite lead. The Eternal version includes the Eternal lead and an additional HB graphite lead, so you have both. Replacement leads are available separately: the Eternal lead, as well as graphite leads in a 3-pack in HB or 2B.

What is the difference between a graphite tip and an Eternal tip?

The graphite tip writes like a standard HB-grade pencil, can be erased, and can be sharpened with fine-grit sandpaper. The Eternal lead is made of a non-toxic special alloy, produces a slightly lighter line (comparable to 2H), and hardly wears down at all, so there’s no need to sharpen it.

How does the magnetic tip replacement system work on the AEON Nano?

The tip attaches magnetically to the pen body. You simply pull it off and snap the other one on—no tools or threads required. It takes just a few seconds to switch them out.

What colors is the AEON Nano Aluminum Pencil available in?

Available in seven colors: Night Sky, Comet Grey, Aurora Green, Warp Black, Velvet Berry, Walnut Brown, and Moss Green. Each color is available with a graphite tip or as an Eternal version.

Does the AEON Nano fit in the Stilform leather pouch?

No. At 94.9 mm, the Nano is too short for the leather pouch and slips around inside it. It does, however, fit into the Stilform Base, which holds all Stilform pens.
