The AEON Pure is the AEON without wood. Where the original features a veneer accent, this model is made entirely of aluminum. If you prefer a cleaner look, go for the Pure.

What Sets the Pure Apart from the AEON

Technically, they are identical: 134.6 mm, 27 g, and the same magnetic mechanism for changing the tip. The only difference is in the finish. No wood veneer, no material boundary—just a solid aluminum surface. Added to that is Star Silver, a color not available on the standard AEON.

What sets the AEON Pure stylus apart from the regular AEON pen?

The AEON Pure is also an aluminum pencil with magnetically interchangeable tips, but it comes in a modified color range (e.g., Star Silver) and features a slightly more understated finish. It is designed for anyone looking for the AEON concept in a slightly more understated style. Functionally, both are identical.

Can I swap the tips on the AEON Pure with those on the regular AEON?

Yes, the magnetic tips are compatible. Both the Eternal tip and the graphite tip in the 3-pack fit both AEON models.

Is the AEON Pure also suitable for left-handed people?

The anti-roll design and symmetrical layout make the AEON Pure equally suitable for left- and right-handed users. The magnetic mechanism works flawlessly regardless of which hand you use to write.

Why does Stilform state that the AEON Pure is “100% lead-free”?

The Eternal tip is made of a non-toxic, lead-free metal alloy. Although the name “pencil” may be misleading, the pencil contains no lead, not even in the graphite tip—chemically speaking, graphite is a form of carbon and is also harmless.
