82 g of titanium. With a fountain pen, weight matters more than with any other writing instrument because the nib is designed to write without pressure. The pen does the work; your hand simply guides it.
Pen by Peter Bock
All four spring options are from the German manufacturer Peter Bock, Model 076, and can be replaced at any time.
- Polished steel: smooth flow, forgiving of beginner mistakes
- Black steel: same properties, matte black coating
- Titan: light flex, direct feedback from the paper
- 14-karat gold: soft and supple
Each nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, and Broad.
Matte Titanium or DLC
“Titanium Matt ” shows the alloy in its uncoated state. “Titanium DLC ” features a deep black diamond-like carbon coating—a coating used in toolmaking that is virtually scratch-resistant in everyday use.
