Why Rope Instead of Plastic or Wood
The polypropylene rope lining provides just enough grip so that strapless dresses and silk blouses stay in place but can be pulled down without tugging. The wide, rounded pad distributes the weight across the entire shoulder area.

Materials and Manufacturing
Inside is a galvanized carbon steel core, covered by a polypropylene rope, with aluminum caps at each end. The rope is UV- and dirt-resistant. The hanger is handmade in a Berlin workshop for people with disabilities; the design is by Roman Luyken.
The three components are not bonded together. At the end of their useful life, they can be separated and recycled individually, rather than ending up in the trash as a composite material.

Care
A damp cloth is all you need. The rope doesn’t absorb dirt or stains—and that goes for the light colors, too.
Good to know: The price is per hanger; they are shipped in bundles of 3, sorted by type. Not suitable for children; the aluminum end caps are small parts.

Die sandfarbene Version fügt sich gut in meinen hellen Kleiderschrank ein. Material wirkt robust – die Bügel liegen angenehm in der Hand. Einen Stern abgezogen weil die Mindestmenge von 12 Stück etwas viel ist. Wer aber mehr braucht macht nichts falsch damit.
