Folding fan – Fan Fun Kyoto – Umo – Daidai This handmade folding fan comes from Kyoto. A folding fan passes through the hands of craftsmen 87 times. The result is a beautiful fan of high quality with many ribs. It sits comfortably in the hand and generates a gentle but powerful breeze. The frame of the fan is made of thinly sliced Japanese bamboo. The fan leaves consist of three different layers of Japanese paper. The fan can be stored in a matching fabric cover when not in use.
