One Horizon is a Swiss online store for select design and lifestyle products, founded by Neo Abgottspon (born in 2003) in Raron, Valais. He sold his first products at Christmas 2020 in his mother’s beauty salon; at the time, he was 17 years old and in the middle of his apprenticeship as a media specialist. Today, the shop carries about 2,500 products from 38 brands around the world, ranging from Australian key organizers to Danish speakers. Each brand is actively sought out, vetted, and carefully selected; in 2026, the product range was intentionally scaled back. The criterion has remained the same since day one: Would we keep it ourselves? Products are curated in Valais and shipped from Switzerland, with no customs fees.

One Horizon began in a place where no one would expect to find a design shop: a beauty salon in Raron, at Christmas 2020. The first carefully selected design pieces sat on the shelf among the skincare products. They were sold by Neo Abgottspon, who was 17 at the time and in the middle of his apprenticeship as a media specialist.

What started as a shelf in the living room became an online store: a registered sole proprietorship since June 2022, a limited liability company (GmbH) since July 2023, and a registered trademark since October 2024. Built without investors or outside capital, using knowledge gained from training in marketing, graphic design, and computer science. Neo Abgottspon owns 100 percent of the company.

Today, the selection includes about 2,500 products from 38 brands. The number 38 says more about the shop than the number 2,500: No brand is included in the selection by chance; each one has been actively sought out, vetted, and deliberately added. In 2026, the selection was even deliberately scaled back instead of continuing to grow. The criterion is the same as it was on the first Christmas at the salon: Would we keep it ourselves? If the answer is no, it won’t be sold.

Curated in Valais, shipped from Switzerland, with no customs fees. The word “Horizont” in the name says it all: the best of the design world, all in one place. The brand’s slogan: “Your Lifestyle, Our Mission.”
