TPU strap

The strap is made of TPU, a soft, rubber-like plastic. It is water- and dust-resistant and retains its shape and finish even in the rain. If you don’t want to deal with leather care or spend a lot of time outdoors, this is the version for you.

Here’s how it works

There are 2 to 7 standard keys between the two halves of the strap, and they no longer rattle.
The award-winning locking mechanism holds the keys securely in place. If it loosens over time, just tighten it again.
Car keys, badges, or tags are attached to the D-ring and remain outside the stack.
With the extension post (sold separately), you can fit 4 more keys.
The Orbitkey Multi-Tool V2 can be inserted into the stack just like a key.

How many keys fit in the Orbitkey Aktiv key organizer?

2 to 7 standard keys. The extension post adds 4 more, for a total of up to 11. Car keys and key fobs hang from the D-ring and are not counted as part of the stack.

Is the Orbitkey Aktiv waterproof?

Yes. The band is made of TPU, a rubber-like plastic that is water- and dust-resistant. The metal parts are made of 316L stainless steel. Rain and wet hands won't affect it.

Does the clasp loosen over time?

The locking mechanism is designed to last a long time. If it loosens slightly after a few years due to normal wear and tear, just tighten it by hand, and the keys will fit securely again.

What sets the Aktiv apart from the Orbitkey leather key organizer?

The design, clasp, and capacity are the same. The "Aktiv" model has a TPU strap instead of a leather one: It can withstand moisture and doesn't require leather care, but it won't develop a patina.
