That’s exactly what the Rope Hanger from Peppermint Products is designed for—it comes in a set of three of the same style: three identical hangers in one color, with a steel core for stability, a rope wrap for grip, and they glide silently along the rod.
Why Rope Instead of Plastic or Wood
The polypropylene rope lining provides just enough grip so that slip dresses and silk blouses stay in place but can be pulled down without tugging. The wide, rounded pad distributes the weight across the entire shoulder area.

Materials and Manufacturing
Inside is a galvanized carbon steel core, covered by a polypropylene rope, with aluminum caps at the ends. The rope is UV- and dirt-resistant. The hangers are handmade in a socially responsible workshop in Germany; the design is by Roman Luyken.
The three components are not bonded together. At the end of their useful life, they can be separated and recycled individually, rather than ending up in the trash as a composite material.

Care
A damp cloth is all you need. The rope doesn’t absorb dirt or stains—and that goes for the light colors, too.
Good to know: The set is shipped with all pieces of the same type in one color, in plastic-free packaging. Not suitable for children; the aluminum end caps are small parts.
