We take the protection of your data seriously and collect only the information we need to operate the store. This policy describes what data is collected, how we use it, how long we retain it, and what rights you have. It applies to all data processing on one-horizon.ch.

When you visit the website, technical information is collected: IP address, browser, operating system, referrer URL, and time of access. This data is used to ensure the technical operation of the website and for statistical analysis.

Our website uses cookies, which are small text files stored in your browser. We distinguish between three types:

• Cookies that are necessary for the operation of the store, such as the shopping cart and login. No consent is required for these.

When you place an order, we collect the information necessary to process it: name, address, email address, phone number, payment information, and order history. This information is stored in your customer account and is used to fulfill the contract and provide customer support.

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we will store your information to process your request and in case we need to follow up with you. We will not share this information with third parties without your consent.

We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to process it, address any inquiries, and ensure the traceability of an order. Upon request, we will delete your inquiry earlier, provided there are no legal retention requirements that prevent us from doing so.

If you sign up for the newsletter, we will use your email address solely for the purpose of sending it to you. Sign-up is done via a double-opt-in process, so you’ll need to confirm your subscription by clicking a link in a confirmation email. The newsletter is sent directly through our website; your email address will not be shared with third parties.

We work with specialized service providers to process payments. They receive only the data necessary for this purpose, and their privacy policies also apply.

• PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. for payments via PayPal

Credit card information is neither processed nor stored in our store.

We use Google Tag Manager to centrally manage the scripts we use. Tag Manager itself does not collect any personal data or set any cookies; it only loads the services listed below, and only after you have given your consent via the cookie banner. When these services are loaded, your IP address is transmitted to Google.

We use Google Analytics 4 to analyze website usage. Usage data such as page views, time spent on the site, and device type are collected; IP addresses are truncated in the process. The data is processed on Google’s servers, including those in the United States.

We use Google Ads to run ads on Google Search and the Google Network, as well as to track whether an ad led to an order.

Both of these features operate only with your consent, as indicated in the cookie banner. You can also disable Google tracking through your Google account or the browser add-on.

We use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It tracks the actions that take place on our website after a user clicks on an ad and enables advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Data may be transferred to Meta’s servers in the U.S. You can further restrict this tracking through your Facebook settings.

Our website is hosted by a Swiss provider in a data center in Geneva. The data is therefore stored in Switzerland. The provider processes the data exclusively on our behalf and is contractually bound to maintain confidentiality.

We only share your data if it is necessary to fulfill the contract—for example, with the payment service provider or the postal service for delivery—or if we are legally required to do so. We do not sell your data.

Certain service providers, in particular Google and Meta, process data in the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which are also recognized in Switzerland as providing an adequate level of protection.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, and tampering. Data transmission on our website is encrypted at all times (SSL/TLS).
