The Orbitkey Desk Mat is a two-layer desk mat. You can slip loose papers, notes, and mail between the layers instead of stacking them next to your keyboard. Most desk mats are made of felt or leather. Nice, but they don’t solve any problems. The Desk Mat has a two-layer design, and the space between the layers holds everything that would otherwise be lying around: the bill that still needs to be paid, the printed contract, the note from the phone call. The underside is made of recycled PET felt and doesn’t slip, even when you’re typing quickly. What size fits on your table?
It comes in three sizes and two colors: Stone and Black. The Slim measures 80 x 31 cm and is designed for desks that hold only a laptop and a mouse. The Large size measures 89.6 x 42.3 cm and accommodates a setup with an external keyboard and notebook. The Medium size falls in between. All three are 4.9 mm thick—thin enough that the palms of your hands won’t hit the surface while typing.
